Helpful facts to help you decide which breed of bunny is right for you, and your family.
Holland Lops can grow up to 4 1/2 pounds
Holland lops can have different personalities, but are generally curious and friendly. There are at least three main personalities that I have noticed. The first one is that they can be very hyper, rarely standing still and always bouncing around. They like to play and are very active. The second is laid back, not in any hurry. Totally the opposite from the first. The last personality is the most common. Curious and lovable, they like to be with you and love to be played with.
Netherland Dwarfs can grow up to 2 1/2 pounds
Netherland Dwarfs have a more shy, nervous and independent temper than other rabbits. So they may not be the ideal pet for young children. Once they reach mating age, some dwarfs may display territorial and aggressive behavior. Getting your Dwarf spayed or neutered will stop that behavior.
Lionheads can grow up to 3 1/2 pounds
The Lionhead rabbit, is one of the newest breeds of small domestic rabbits. They can come in a wide variation and combination of different colors, including brown or blue eyes. They also have small ears and long fur that may at times need a little brushing out depending on how fluffy they become (though rabbits are generally very good at grooming themselves). Lionheads have a gentle, friendly personality.
